Well- I've been lamenting that I need to have a tool to coordinate and contain all my techno-stuff. And I've been asking around to see what people are using or doing and I have not had much success with answers. I stumbled across this tool today and I am thinking it has real potential!

I definitely feel pulled in different directions by all the different tools of the web. I have been using iGoogle as a place to connect all of my tools in a central location. I need to update it frequently. But, I think it is similar to the idea you are talking about.
